Walsh Medical Practice is a long established modern dynamic medical practice in New Ross. Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic permanent Full/Part time Practice Nurses (Monday to Friday).

The role of the Practice Nurse is to provide clinical nursing, health promotion and screening in the GP Practice. You will need to have a passion for Healthcare, excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Position Requirements:

• • Must be a Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais

• • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but in-job training is provided

This is an opportunity to work as part of a team delivering holistic care in the community

The role would include but is not limited to:

• • Phlebotomy
  • Adult and Childhood Immunization
  • Patient Education
  • Smear taking
  • Participation in Chronic Disease Management
